I wonder i...I really like the cartography analogy. I wonder if comparable phenomenon is happening right now to the body of cultural wisdom encoded in literature. Are we in a period when the truths long conveyed in stories and poetic language are suffering from Gresham's Law: bad currency drives out good currency?
